Bigham Farms is located in Central Point (9445 Pumice Lane Central Point OR). They will have a ton of family friendly activities. Plan to enjoy the corn maze, hay rides, bubble fun, and photo ops in addition to their pumpkin patch. They also have a large fam stand with a variety of squash and apples as well as their regular produce and goods. Open Fridays for field trips. This year’s activity pricing is $12 kids stamp and $10 parent stamp and includes all activities. Admission to the pumpkin patch is free.

Oregon’s Premier Chalk and Music Festival

Held the first weekend of October on H Street. This creative event features local and regional street painters, music from regional bands.

Fort Vannoy Farms is located in Grants Pass (5791 Lower River Road, Grants Pass OR). This one is a large and extremely popular farm to visit. They have a 23 acre pumpkin patch and an 8 acre corn maze! Other farm activities include a Cow Train Ride, The Pumpkin Chunker Cannon, Mini Pumpkin Blaster, Face Painting, Hay Pyramid, Hayrides, photo ops, and more. Shop their farm store for kettle corn and pumpkin bread. Open daily beginning October 1, 2024.

Ani-Medford is a convention celebrating Anime, Tokusatsu, and Manga. Focusing on all things Japanese culture with fun activities like rare Japanese video games, panels, anime special guests, exhibitors of all genres, vendors, and a really great time to spend with friends and family. Ani-Medford is fun for all ages!

Hanley Farm on September 21st and 22nd for the Harvest and Scarecrow Festival! Make a scarecrow to protect your family from the “witches, ghosties, and ghoulies” who prowl your fields and gardens Halloween Night! Scarecrow-making Kits will be available for $20 ($15 for SOHS Members) and includes everything you’ll need to make a full-size, old-fashioned, straw-stuffed scarecrow. You can take your finished scarecrow home OR enter it in the Farm’s annual “People’s Choice” scarecrow contest.

Meadowlark Comic Con brings fans of pop culture the ultimate fandom experience with a flavor of community. Comic books, celebrity guests, toys, video games, cosplay, and more. We also support the Western Meadowlark, the original State bird of Oregon.

Children’s Festival is a long running tradition in Southern Oregon. I’ve met so many parents who loved going to it themselves as a child and are now taking their own kids. Its the 58th year this year!! If you haven’t been this a 3 day festival with tons of arts and crafts, clay, face painting, science experiments, story telling, and stage performances for children. Children's Festival will be held at the Britt Gardens in Jacksonville on the following days/times:
