4th of July Parades in Southern Oregon
Central Point, OR
The parade starts at 9:30 AM. Parade route: 2nd St. → Pine St. → 8th St. → Cherry St. → Crater. See the event map for more details.
The Central Point 4th of July Parade & Freedom Festival is the highlight of the year in Central Point, Oregon! From sunrise to sunset, our city transforms into a vibrant celebration of freedom, drawing visitors from across the county and beyond. Experience a full day of entertainment, featuring our award-winning parade, lively festival at Robert Pfaff Park, and a spectacular fireworks display at the fairgrounds as the sun sets. It’s a jam-packed day filled with free, family-friendly activities!
Ashland, OR
Ashland’s 4th of July Parade and Celebration consists of the parade that begins at Triangle Park at 9:30 am, park booths and activities in Lithia Park following the parade and entertainment at the Bandshell in the afternoon. Ashland Parks & Recreation coordinates a run before the parade kicks off and the evening concludes with the American Band College “Ashland Pops!” concert at Ashland High School.

Klamath Falls will NOT have a July 4th parade for 2025 unless they change plans after this article posts.

4th of July Firework Shows in Southern Oregon
It’s not an Independence Day Celebration without the fireworks. The Rogue Valley has several Fireworks Shows planned.
Boomfest in Central Point, OR
Boomfest at The Expo Jackson County Fairgrounds. Lot opens at 7. Fireworks begin at dusk. They have a family friendly gravel lot next to the Rogue Valley Family Fun Center set up for folks looking for a safe place to set off their own fireworks while you’re waiting for the biggest fireworks show in Southern Oregon to begin. They’ll even have the fire department onsite to help out.
Eagle Point, OR
July 4 @ 6:00 pm - 10:30 pm at the Eagle Point High School Stadium. 6:oopm High School Stadium opens for family fun. 9:45pm Fireworks
Grants Pass, OR
3rd Annual Grants Pass 4th of July Food truck Festival & Food Drive at Reinhart Volunteer Park, Grants Pass OR. 4pm-10pm. Fireworks begin at 10pm. No outside fireworks allowed.
Lake of the Woods
Lake of the Woods will not have a fireworks display this year, but instead will have a laser light show at dusk! We are excited for this change since fireworks are not a great combination with dry areas during fire season.
Matt’s Twin Creeks Fireworks show in Central Point will not be happening for 2025. This year, the only big firework display for Central Point will be At the Expo.

Freedom Festival in Central Point, OR
The Run 4 Freedom 4k run, job or walk race begins at 7:30, and Parade begins at 9:30. Immediately following the parade, Freedom Festival continues at Pfaff Park with kids activities, food vendors, artisan booths, contests, and live music.
4th of July Celebration and Food Truck Festival in Grants Pass, OR
Grants Pass 4th of July Celebration and Food Truck Festival starts a 4pm at Reinhart Volunteer Park and is FREE. It includes bounce houses, face painting, aerial performances, art in the park, a classic car show, and live music concerts.
4th of July Celebration at Lake of the Woods
Lake of the Woods and Roadsters will have a 4th of July celebration with activities including live music, food and drinks, and laser light show. 4-8pm
